You never know where you can find good advice!

And smart are those who make use of good advice wherever it comes from…

The following article was originally released for Research Students, but then…. aren’t we all students throughout our lives for something or the other?

Hope you find the following article interesting and useful.

I came across this article by Morton C. Orman, M.D. and found it really worth sharing with our Toastmasters members.

As usual, always learn to take suggestions and recommendations with a pinch of salt. There is no absolute right or wrong way of how you may or can do things and you should use your discretion on how/what to to apply in your own usage… but, such articles and pointers do help immensely.

Enjoy… and benefit…

The Hawker jet lifted out of Springfield, Illinois, under midnight darkness, and Barack Obama leaned back into a leather chair. In his lap rested a copy of the keynote address he would deliver in three days at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston. He thumbed through its pages again, even though he already had committed most of the 2,300 words to memory.

I wonder if you have had this experience.

While inviting friends to join Toastmasters, I have - at times - encountered an unspoken reaction: “So you think I need to learn and improve MY oratory and leadership skills?”.

Little do they realize that learning truly never ends and the better you are at something, the more you want to ensure your continued mastery of the subject.

Or then, perhaps, the real masters can help others to improve…
