Sad that we all got busy with our own (other) priorities and forgot our dear club blog.
I was excited to hear that one of the guests at our last meeting, the Chinese girl, had found our club and related details through this blog…..
Which has got me back in action and I am committed to post at least a couple of posts every week.

I am overwhelmed by the flow of positive feedbacks that I have received after our meeting of 23rd November when I was the Toastmaster of the Evening. Thank you, one and all.
I shall most grateful if you could please take a few minutes to critically examine my performance of that day and offer me pointers for improvement.
I am aware, for example, that I failed to maintain control on the time and the meeting ended more than 10 minutes past the scheduled time.

Dubai may need help from Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates government to finance a surge in borrowing that paid for the world’s tallest tower, palm tree- shaped man-made islands and stakes in banks worldwide.
Dubai’s “potential reliance” will be “most significant” in coming years, Moody’s Investors Service said in a report today. Government-controlled companies owe at least $47 billion, more than Dubai’s gross domestic product, and they will continue to accumulate debt at a faster pace than the economy grows, the New York-based rating firm said.
