Dear Fellow Toastmasters,
We had a wonderful meeting yesterday.
Two of the members had reached important milestones in TM moment.
Our new member TM Siddesh had put a first step forward with his ice breaker speech.
Our IPP and area Governor ALB Omana has presented 20 th project making her eligible for the ACB title.
Congratulations to both of them.
We had 5 guests and all of them gave excellent feed back at the end of the meeting.Two of them joined the club today.
We welcome Mr Jackson and Mr. Ajay to the Inner Universe Toastmasters Club.
Thank you TM Joseph Ponnou and ALB Omana for introducing these two members.
With the joining of these two new members our club has become eligible for the “beat the clock” ribbon announced by TMI for 5 new members joining during August ,September.
So our club banner will be decorated with another ribbon.
We congratulate all the Toastmasters for their efforts in making this possible,
All the speakers,evaluators,role players did a wonderful job.
CC Raman Kumar did a wonderful job as TME.
Many of our members who have not been attending the club meetings for the last several months , due to various reasons have attended the meeting today.This is a welcome sign.We hope they will continue to attend the meetings regularly.
But a peculiar thing happened in today’s meeting which never happened before .All the four speakers (including yours truly) exceeded the set time limit for their projects.
That could be due to over confidence and/or lack of practice.I think we must pay more attention to this aspect while preparing/presenting our future project speeches.
Overall, the meeting was excellent with great performances by all the role players.
The mood of the members was upbeat and enthusiasm was oozing from each one of them.
Let us all look forward to have another exciting meeting on 28th September.Agenda will be forwarded by our VP-Education.
